Decoration: 5 large initials: 7-8 lines, blue on gilt background, all with beautiful decorated borders. (Initials on f.11, 39, 59, 63 and 77). All margins with blue, red and green acanthus leafs, on f. 11 with a small head of a man, on f. 39 a green paroquet, on f. 59 and f. 77 other birds.
With 29 smaller initials (2-4 lines, alternating red and blue) with penwork decoration (purple, red).
Bound in a 15th-cent. brown calf binding, on wooden boards, spine with 5 raised bands (spine renewed), bronze catches, lacking clasps |
